नरेन्द्र मोदीले नेपाली भाषामा सम्बोधन गर्दा समस्त नेपालीको रोम रोममा एक तमासको झंकार उत्पन्न भयो, कठोर भन्दा कठोर हृदयहरु पनि आत्मीयताको घुम्टो भित्र नतमस्तक बन्न पुगे | आफू नेपाली हुनु को गर्व ले नेपाली छाती भाव विह्वल बन्न पुग्यो | उनले नेपाल भारत बिचको भावनात्मक सम्बन्ध लाई चरम चुलीमा पुर्याएका छन् | उनले नेपाली स्वयं ले आफू भित्र रहेको तर नदेखेको अपार सम्भावनाका क्षितिज देखाएका छन | नेपाललाई सहयोग गर्ने भन्ने जस्तो दासता पूर्ण ऐतिहासिक सोच को साटो नेपाल संग बजार ओरिएन्टेसन को आधारमा सहकार्य गर्ने भन्ने जस्तो बिशाल हृदय र रणनीतिक सोचको उजागर गरेका छन् | बुद्द जन्मेको भूमि नेपाल नै हो भन्नेमा पटक पटक आफ्नो मत जाहेर गरी विश्व रंगमंचमा अलिनो र रुग्ण बनेको नेपालको पहिचानलाई अझ उज्यालो बनाएका छन् | हत्या र युद्दले आक्रान्त बनेको विश्व रंग मन्चका कर्ता हरुलाई बुलेट वाट नभई ब्यालेट वाट हर तरहको समस्याको समाधान मिल्न सक्छ भन्ने पाठ सिकाउन आज तपाइँलाई मात्र युगिन अवसर मिलेको छ र तपाईले समयमै संबिधान बनाउन सक्नु भयो भने नेपाल लाई मात्र होइन शान्ति तर्फ अभिमुख हुन चाहने समस्त विश्वलाई अपार गुन लाग्ने छ भनेका छन |

Started his nearly 50-minute long address in Nepali language, much to the surprise of everybody including the lawmakers, before switching back to Hindi, his mother tongue. Expressed gratitude to the Speaker of the House for allowing him with the opportunity to address the Nepali Parliament, which he said, was not just his honor but also of the entire Indian population. Stressing on the timeless bilateral relations between Nepal-India, Modi remarked that the ties between the two neighbors were as old as the Himalayas and the Ganges, adding that he was eager to take the relations to a new height during his stint as the Indian PM. Modi lauded the Nepali people’s decision to choose the path of peace by laying down arms. He said Nepal can send the message to the people around the world who believe in the strength of the barrel by drafting a democratic constitution as soon as possible. In his televised address, the Indian PM shed light on the potential areas, including hydro power and tourism, from which Nepal can strengthen its economy and go on to create their own identity in the world.
